Jesus Love

Jesus said in John 15:12, "This is MY COMMANDMENT, that you love one another as I have loved you."   Jesus commanded us to love just like him.  Most people, I believe, do not understand how Jesus loved them on the cross.  If they knew, it would not be hard for them to forgive people.

1 John 3:5-6, says, "And ye know that he was manifested to TAKE AWAY our sins, and in Him is no sin.  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:  whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."  Have you ever had something taken away from you?  If you have, then you know that if you don't have it, you cannot do anything with it.  Seeing here that He took my sins away, I do not have them to commit.  In other words, Jesus took my sins away, where I do not live in them.  This love allows me to take other peoples sins away, by forgiving and forgetting what they do.

The Lord spoke to me one day when I read these scriptures and said, "If you continue in any sin, then you do not know me.  If you ever get to me with your problems, I will take them away forever."  Notice the woman that was caught in the act of adultery, Jesus told her to go and sin no more.  He said to me, "If you get to me, I will tell you to go and sin no more."  WOW, you mean that Jesus has the power to do this, YES, He does.

Jesus took ALL of my sins away and I am no longer bound by sin to serve it.  I am bound by a precious love that was shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost to serve and live to all creatures.  Jesus said in John 15:9, "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you:  Continue ye in my love."  Jesus did not command me to love with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, he told me to continue in His love, and His love is "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."  John 15:13.  I have laid down the way I feel about anything to live in His love and have a great joy in my heart to do it.

Come on and walk in this love.  If you have never surrendered your life to this love that takes away you sins, pray this prayer with me,  "Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the true son of God.  I believe that you died on the cross and on the third day, God's mighty power, raised you from the dead.  I confess you as my Lord and savior, you are my Master now.  I renounce Satan and darkness and turn to your love, to walk in it.  I surrender every area of my life to serve you and do what you say.  I repent of my sin, the sin of unbelief, I receive forgiveness and I believe in how you love me and I choose to go live that love to others.  Come into my heart, change me and rule me, in Jesus name, Amen."

"I always keep my word"

"I always keep my word." I say to my children.  The Lord has me say this to hold me accountable when thoughts come to not keep my word. (Matthew 12:37)  The Lord told me that if I don't keep my word, it will hinder my faith from working.  Psalm 15:4 says, "Who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the LORD; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;"  So, I always keep my word.

Being the head of my house I sometimes make declaration's of things that I expect my family to obey.  A while back I made the declaration that anyone who uses the restroom, must close the door and turn the fan on.  Well, the other day, I was speaking to my wife and suddenly I got the urge to go to the restroom.  I go in, sit down, and continue to speak to my wife.  My eldest son, Jacob, comes into the room, flips the fan switch on and then start's to leave, closing the door behind him.  I tell him, "Leave the door open, I am talking."  He just continues to close the door, and because he is not obeying his father, I get heated and sternly say, "Leave the door open, I am talking."  He just peeps his head around the door, smiles, and says to me, "Daddy, you've got to keep your word." and then shuts the door.  There was no fight left in me, I was deflated, dumbfounded and sat there with my mouth open, thinking wow, he's right.

I am sitting there in that state when the word of the Lord came to me and said, "When you pray, bring me my word, and that is what happens to me."  I said, "Lord, from now on, I am only going to bring you the word when I pray."  John 15:7

Who Said Teenagers Were Hard

My neighbor's son, who is 14, asked me to come help cut his grass.  Understand, I seek the Lord on everything, there are blessings in what He tells us to do.   The Lord told me to help him, so I went.  As I am cutting the grass I noticed his cousin, who also is 14, jumping my 6 foot privacy fence to get something out of my back yard.  Well I asked the Lord what to do and he said, "Go tell him he cannot do that without your permission."  I finished an area and then shut the mower off and walked over to my house to tell him, and I said to him, "Without my permission, your are not allowed to come into my back yard, but, if you ask me, I will let you get whatever is back there."  He said, "My knife is in your back yard."  I said again, "If you ask my permission, I will let you go get it."  He said, "Will you go get my knife?"  Before I got in the flesh, the Lord checked me and told me to get it for him and I obeyed with joy.

Ten minutes later I was working around the house and the Word of the Lord came unto me and said, "Go tell that boy, you forgive and forget what he did."  I said, "Yes sir." and went.  When I told him, he said, "OK" as if he had though no more about it.

The next morning, I went to Jimmy Cantrell's market, to get a juice and biscuit.  If I use my debit card in their maching and spend less than $5.00 you have to pay extra, so I decided to pull $20.00 out of the ATM machine and while I was doing that the Lord spoke to me and said, "Get $40.00"  So, I did and for about 10 seconds thought about why the Lord wanted me to get the money and then I just obeyed His word again and casted that care (1 Peter 5:7 AMP) and then headed to work.

I got home from work and my wife told me to go look in the street.  Someone had spray painted a man's private parts with black spray paint in the street right in from of my driveway, pointed at my house.  Well, I could have guessed who did it, but without any witnesses, I was not going to judge it.  Around 7:00pm that night, one of the neighbors called and told me that the neighbor across the street saw this boy spray paint this design in the street earlier that day.  I asked the Lord what to do and he said, "Go confront him."  I said, "I'll do it, but you've gotta speak for me, Lord."

When I got to his house, he was not there.  I talked to some of his family members and told them when he got home to tell him to come see me.  On my way home, he was coming up the street on his bicycle and I waited for him.  When he got to me I said, "Son, did you know that I am a true disciple of the Lord Jesus?"  He said, "Yes"  I said, "Did you know that I do everything he tells me?"  He said, "No, I didn't know that."  I said, "Well I do, and I tell you I forgive you and forget it."  He said, "OK" and I said, "Now, what are you going to do about it." (Talking about the design in front of my house)  He said, "Nothing"  I said, "Praise the Lord" and then just came on home.  As I was sitting there telling the Lord on this boy, he spoke to me and said, "Do you remember me telling you to get $40.00 out of your account this morning?  Take the extra $20.00 and go bless him with it."  Man, I ran to his house with that blessing.  I went over there, handed him the money and told him the Lord told me to bless him with it.  Jesus love never fails.  (1 Corinthians 13:8)

By 9:30 that evening, he had gone and gotten some more spray paint and painted over it.  There was not longer private parts, buy a much better looking solid rectangle, and then he came to my house and apologized.  The Lord kept me in His love throughout the whole thing and the boy never got condemed.  The next day the Lord had me pray with him and bless him for repenting and turning for what he had done.  I hear people say that it is hard to love like Jesus, if you say that, it is because you have never experienced His love for yourself.  This is true, you cannot give what you do not have and if you really have His love in your heart and know what he has done for you, you will give it to everyone that will receive it.  I am not saying to love their darkness, you can hate that, but love them.  Jesus loved me to get rid of my darkness, so I could walk in the light of His love.  (Acts 26:18)

Gas Prices Mean Nothing

I was pumping gas the other day when the Lord led me to check my oil level.  After finding that I was a quart low, I went into the store to buy some.  Jesus commanded His disciples, which I am, in Matthew 28:19-20 to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.”  The Lord prompted me to speak to the woman behind the counter about the scripture Hebrews 10:23, teaching her what He commanded me, which reads, “Let us hold fast the confession of faith without wavering, for he that promised is faithful.”   I proceeded to tell her about how faithful Jesus is when you do not waiver in your confessing to what he did for us, and how being double minded will cause your faith not to work in what you are believing God for.  She responded as though she was receiving what I was saying to her.

After this, I went outside, put the oil in my truck and then placed the gas pump back in its position.  This particular pump would not give me a receipt and I felt the Lord drawing me back into the station to get it.  Once back inside I got in line and stood behind someone, which blocked the view of the lady the Lord had me minister to, so that she could not see me.  As I stood there, I realized that she was talking about what had just happened and she said, “I wished people would just keep their mouth shut.   People just need to keep what they believe to themselves and if they don’t know what denomination you are from, they shouldn’t say anything to anybody.  He could have just prayed for me, I would have accepted that, but not him preaching to me.”  Finally, the person in front of me finished and moved out of the way.  I proceeded to ask her for a receipt and then told her that I was only doing what Jesus told me to do.  She started in again but directly at me, and I said, “Praise the Lord” and left to go to a meeting.

Meanwhile, the enemy kept trying to creep in and get me in offense to this person.  Well, Jesus has taught me some things.  He told me in Matthew 5:44, “But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good then them that hate you, and pray for  them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”  At this point, I asked Jesus how He wanted me to handle this situation, and He said, “Go to the bank and draw out $200.00 and bless her with $100.00."  You can imagine the thoughts that tried to come against me after that, but I just obeyed the Lord and got the money.

Back at the store, I got in line and I walked up to the counter and handed her an envelope with $100.00 in it and said,”The Lord told me to bless you with this.”  Then, I turned around and walked out of the store and went back to work.  I tell you it felt so wonderful to bless her, and I was happy and full of joy to do it.  It is the goodness of God and His love that brings men and women to repentance.  (Romans 2:4)

Two weeks later the Lord sent me back in the store and she was there.  As soon as I got up to the counter she apologized for the way she acted and thanked me for blessing her with money that she really needed and she now understands what the Lord was trying to say to her through me.   This woman will receive anything I say to her now Glory to God.  Praise the Lord for His great love for us.
